Ticino is Switzerland’s southern canton, famous for Swiss cuisine with Italian influences. Celebrating 36 years in business, Erwin Widmer has operated Ticino Restaurant since 1979. His daughter, Angela, and her husband, Louis-Pierre Helie, are now the new managers. Veal Wiener Schnitzel, hazelnut breaded chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, fresh salmon, steak and lobster, rack of lamb, fresh pasta dishes, Swiss Raclette cheese, beef and cheese fondues and for dessert a Swiss chocolate fondue. With a warm alpine ambiance, Ticino's is one of Banff's few family owned-&-operated restaurants.
Open daily for a European-style a la carte breakfast as well as evening a la carte service from 5:30pm until close.
